The Guado Urbino laboratory, an artisan space dedicated to nature, in the heart of Urbino.

Guado Urbino is an artisan space, a laboratory set up with the details of a magical tale. Alessandra Ubaldi creates textile accessories using a single color: the light blue extracted from the woad plant, once the treasure of the duchy.

Laboratory activities

In the laboratory, Alessandra tells the story of woad, offering visitors the opportunity to discover the world of natural dyeing, see hand-dyed accessories up close and interact directly with her to explore curiosity and ask questions. Thematic workshops and meetings related to the natural and artisanal world are also often organised.

Among the activities proposed in the past in the laboratory, there were for example the Artisan Bookbinding Workshop organized with Daisy In the Book; numerous meetings (2023 and 2024) with the IIS Caterina da Siena school ; a meeting on the Cardo and a meeting on the Ginestra , with Anahi Bucchini and Laura Giamperi.
